Adding LUTS to a Livestream using the Atomos Ninja V
Loading LUTS onto the Atomos Ninja V
To load the LUTS file or files onto the Atomos Ninja you need an SSD Harddrive, the Harddrive caddy, and a USB to SATA adapter. I provided links below for your convenience. In most cases, you will have these items already available.
- StarTech.com SATA to USB Cable
- Samsung 870 EVO SATA III SSD 1TB 2.5
- SK hynix Gold S31 500GB SATA Gen3 2.5 inch Internal SSD
- Atomos ATOMCAD112 Master Caddy II Hard Drive Case (5 Pack)
I am using the Nikon Z6 with the LUTZ below.
Download File:
Place the file into the root directory of the Atomos. For example, my drive is NINJA V (F:) the LUTS file was placed in this directory as depicted above.
WIth the LUTS file loaded onto the Hard Drive, Securely remove the drive from your computer and insert it into the Atomos Ninja V. Ensure the Atomos is powered off before inserting the drive.
Enabling the LUTs and Applying it to the video Output.
I am using version 10.7.3 of the Atomos firmware. With the Atomos turned on, Touch the Monitor (MON) icon.

With the setting Option Selected click on the Monitor tab and select the sub-option “LUT”.
Select a open slot “1,2,3,4…” and click on the folder.
